My Unforgetable Valentines Celebration

Valentines Day is not only intended for couples, because Singles knows how to have fun also, right single people? Even though I’m in the top lists to be in the firing squad this years Valentine because obviously I’m single for 24 years, still I don’t want to spoil the celebration because of that reason. Well this is the happiest, busiest and awesome valentines celebration I’ve ever experience in my whole life. I’m grateful that I could spend my valentines day with my family and friends. I went home after my shift I bought a little box of valentine donut from Dunkin (“it’s a heart shape donut...yay!”), it serves as a valentine gift for my parents, and then I went to bed to catch some z’s.

Early afternoon I’ve spend my Valentines Day with my mom, dad, bro and he’s girlfriend at the mall, I treat them in Pancake House.

After that I have a date with the singles girlfriend namely Jessica and Raquel we went to Cafe Firenzo located in Damosa, we sip some smoothies while having our girl talk.

At 10 p.m Raquel and I left Jessica and her girl friend in Cafe Firenzo, cause we have another date together with our night shift boy friends Ale, Kuya Erwin, Cliff, Majar, and my cousin Elton (“all of them are certified single, except for my cousin Elton”**wink)**. We meet them in Toryanos, after that we decide to go to seawall. We bought some drinks, a half gallon of ice cream and some junk foods. Actually it really looks like were having a “picnic” in the middle of the night...Hehe. We spend our night talking, throwing jokes, me and Raquel savour the taste of the ice cream while the boy’s enjoying their drinks. We went home around 4 o’clock, yeah it’s already morning! We're all dead tired, but for me it's worth it.

I really did enjoy my Valentines Day thanks for my family and friends. I just realized that it’s not necessary to have a lover or a partner to enjoy this kind of celebration, the important is you spend it with the people you love and value the most. Thank's everyone…..

Spending my Valentines Day....

Since yesterday was Valentines Day and I don't have a date. My friends Wiwit, Beverly and I, decided to watch a movie. You know just trying to have fun on Valentines Day even without a date, who says singles doesn't know how to have fun!right girls?..hahaahaha. When we arrived at the mall we saw a lots of sweet couples there, carrying flowers and heart shape balloon. We nudge to each other and said “HAY BUTI PA SILA” and laugh, well honestly in my entire life I never get a chance to received a flower..hahaha.

Before we proceed to watch a movie, we decided to take-out food in KFC our official tambayan...grrr..I love the food in KFC knowing that this food chain is one of the reason why my allergy trigger..hahaha(I do have a chicken allergy now, no worries it's not severe.), well I can't help it I love the food in KFC....After that we discuss what movie we would watched, fortunately I was able to convinced them, to watched the movie that I like (I have a gift in convincing people..hahaha),sorry Bevs I know you really wanted to watch marian rivera's movie (My Bestfriend's Girlfriend) , next time Bevs we will promised. (while waiting for our oder, we post for picture^)

The tittle of the movie that we watched is the “Jumper”, (It was recommended it to me by my bf) the cast in the movie were Hayden Christensen play as David, Samuel L. Jackson as Roland, Rachel Bilson as Millie, Diane Lane as Mary, Jamie Bell as Griffin and etc.,this movie was directed by Doug Liman who also directed 'Bourne Identity' and 'Mr. And Mrs. Smith' (cool huh!). Jumper is a tale of an underground world of Teleporters. The main character played by Hayden Christensen as David Rice has grown up with a mysterious power – he’s able to instantly teleport – or ‘jump’ – anywhere in the world. From New York to Tokyo, from the ruins of Rome to the heart of the Sahara Desert, through walls and bank safes - anywhere is possible. Initially using his powers to run away from his past and to take advantage of unlimited wealth to remain fiercely independent, he later discovers that he his not alone, and all is not well in the world of ¨jumpers¨.

The movie is very cool especially when David robbed the bank and no one noticed him and when he teleport to one place to another...(oh!that's amazing!)..hmmm
.. I wish I had a gift like that...hahaha, well if I do,there are 3 things in my list...1. I will rob all the government bank..hahaha(oist to get revenge from the government for paying high taxes and theres no improvement in the country)bad right?lol...Well the good thing about it, the money that I rob i will share it to my family, donate to charities and churches and treat my friends (love it guys?party all day without work..lol). 2. I will go to States (to visit my bf, I will surprised him) and we will watch NBA games together...lol 3.Travel around the world, I want to go first to Paris, France...grrr Paris is the place that I really wanted to visit. It's crazy right? Well it's good to imagined crazy stuff sometimes, to remove stress and problems in life.

Seriously I encourage you to watch it and I guarantee you it's worth to watch. You can learn from the movie that it's fun to have everything you want, but too much is not good. For girls Hayden Christensen is so cute..haha.(that's him cute right? -->) He's my 2nd crush now next to Orlando Bloom, I did not notice that Hayden Christensen is the one who played the role of Anakin Skywalker in Star War's well he's just a kid back then. Well my next post in this blog is all bout Hayden. I really enjoyed the movie especially because I'm with my friends and I hope they enjoy it too. So after that we went home directly tired but with a nice feeling we proved to ourselves that we can enjoy Valentines Day, even without a date... right girls?

****Picture taking inside the theater (diba bawal to? pasaway...hahaha)***

The history of Valentines Day

It's February 14 now...”Happy Valentines to all”...Let me tell you the history of valentines day..hmmm...The origin of the Valentines Day is shrouded in mystery and there are varying opinions about it. Its origin has become theme of many legends. St. Valentines Day as we celebrate today has remnants of both Christian and ancient Roman traditions. According to some legends Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying his decree, which outlawed marriage for young men.

Some legends have it that the Valentines Day originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity on Feb. 14, 269 A.D. Today the Roman Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine, all of whom were martyred. St. Valentine may have been imprisoned and later killed for helping Christians to escape harsh punishment in Roman prisons.

There is an interesting story portraying the love affair between St. Valentine and the jailor's daughter. St. Valentine left a farewell note for her, the note read- "from your Valentine². Valentine's Day is said to have started in the Roman Empire. In ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honor Juno. Juno was the Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. The Romans regarded her as the Goddess of women and marriage. The following day, February 15th, began the festival of Lupercalia, in honor of Lupercus, the hunter of wolves. Legends aside, the popularity of the Valentines Day rose manifold among the people and in tune with it Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honor St. Valentine, the patron saint of love and romance. ~"In Life many of us have done fighting in every way to survive, heard every painful truth, been in every heartbreaking scene and felt every dreadful feeling. We thought going through it will then make us realized that we have to stop the fight, to atleast save a little of ourselves. But you know whats funny? It's when it seems that we are so much tired of it, but still we can't just quit no matter how hard it is and we continue hoping that one day..well be able to find someone who could love us, not just "right" but "real"~
