Mom and Dad 25th Anniversary

Last August 21,2009 is my parent’s 25th Anniversary known as “silver anniversary”, before I dream to throw a huge party for them or organize a wedding just to renew their bows once again, but since I’m out of penny now I can’t afford that thing (sad) “I’m sorry mom and dad just wait 5 yrs from now, maybe this dream will finally come true..hehe, well see”. Well being out of penny doesn’t give me hindrance to make this special moment of my parents to be memorable. We celebrate it by going to the beach in Blue Jazz just the four of us, we stay there for a night. It’s really nice feeling to be with my family that time. We talk, drink, eat and do a lot of swimming. It’s a night full of laughs and bonding moments, and that’s also the time that I finally confess to my parents that I will be going to Singapore this October (“Blue jazz lang pala ang katapat..hehe”). I thought I will be receiving a negative reaction on that matter but to my surprise their all excited, more excited than me…”hehe, thanks mama and papa”. I’m so proud that my parents reach 25 years as a couple, 25 years is not that easy. Here’s a poem that I will dedicate for them.

One by one each year flew by, since you both said, “I do"
25 years of memories shared by the two of you.
From big events and holidays to simple daily pleasures,
Some tearful times along life’s way, some joys that can’t be measured
One by one each year now gone, But still they’re yours forever
Each and every memory, of a quarter Century together!

Happy Silver Anniversary Mama and Papa, I love you both.

The celebration wouldn't be complete without a pictures, here's the glimpse of it:

My 2nd Pictorial for 2009

Who would expect that I could be able to face the camera once again? Honestly I myself never thought about that, even though I really love being on cam…hehe. I remember the last time I have a photo shoot it was last January this year and I’ve never expected to have a photo shoot again. I’m thankful to Tammy and Rafa for inviting me, to become their model. For me it was a dream come true, if you talk about the theme I guarantee that it’s 100% dream come true, obviously the theme is a princess theme..yehey! I jump for joy when I finally know the plan. It was just a childish dream that now happens in real life. In my whole life I’ve never wear a gown, but now I dress up as a princess wear a nice and elegant gown, with a crown and complete accessories thanks to my friends Kai, Jes and Chai for helping me out.

The photo shot happens in Eden Garden a perfect place for our theme. I’m not the only model my friend Raquel is one of their model also the theme is “angel”. Actually it was a tiring photoshoot..hehe, imagine walking in the woods wearing a huge gown, but I’m thankful for this become a princess for one day. It’s a wonderful experience that someday I can be able to share it to my grandchildren when I get old and of course I can’t end this post without thanking my talented photographers, “thank you guys I really love all the pictures see you all next photoshoot, this is one of the memories that I can treasure forever. “

The picture above is taken by my close friend Gemini, that's my favorite. Here's the picture taken by my other talented photographers:

Weekend with my Night Shift F.R.I.E.N.D.S

It’s almost a month since I transfer in day shift again as far as I remember it’s been 7 months working in a night shift. Honestly it’s tiring to be in a nocturnal shift, I felt exhausted the time when I reached 6 months. Actually it’s not healthy in both of my job and my health I’m not productive anymore, that’s why I keep on prying every night to be back in day shift. Good thing God really answer my prayer he gave me a client that is prefer to work in daytime. Even though my wish granted it’s such a distressing part for me also, I know I will going to miss my friends in night shift…my row mates and the people I’ve been hanging-out for 7 months. I miss being with them throwing jokes and teasing each other, I miss the breakfast routine after the shift and of course the birthday party celebration, every time there is a celebrant we celebrate he’s or her birthday in the pantry, in day shift we didn’t do that. Hahayzzz….. Well after our SEO seminar I get a chance to bond with them again, we support Eversun basketball team we cheer while holding a different colors of balloon but unfortunately they lost…OUCH!..Its ok we did enjoy the game, did we? Hehe…After that we had our dinner together spend some of our time talking and throwing jokes again… (“That’s the thing I miss!arrggg”). After dinner all the girls went home while some of the guys spend time to the other place. I went home with a smiling face, I’m just glad I spend my weekend with them. See you again next bonding moments.

I'm a certified Barn Buddy Addict

I’m not usually falling for games online well I did enjoy playing some of them just to freed boredom but not to the extent to be addicted or indulge myself with it. As for the record way back in college the only game that I can say I get addicted or attached is the “ Sim’s” game I’ve spend much of my time just playing that game. Well that addiction happened again just recently my co-workers discover one of the game application in facebook it’s called “Barn Buddy” . In this game you will plant and harvest different variety of veggies and fruits. The funny thing about this game is that you can be able to stole your friends plant and earn a gold point, each plants has a corresponding points.

If you’re not clever enough to watch your barn I’m sure you don’t have anything to harvest, oh well just blame your friends for that...hehe...Anywayz a dog can help you watching your barn with that evil thieves...OUCH! I’m one of the thieves, do I have to consider myself as an evil? haha...In order to get a dog you have to recruit 10 friends. If you ask me if I had a dog in my barn, well I’m proud to say that my loving friends help me get a doggie!yehey! Actually I forced some of them to add that application to their facebook (charm2x lang na...haha “Thank you Guys…love you all...muah”).

Why should I consider myself as a certified addict in this game? Well just this three simple indication first I’ve spend a lot of my time in this game, second I even used an alarm just to wake me up so that I can harvest my barn in the exact time and the worst is that whenever I’m outside or not getting online in one day I get worried about my barn..:(…I will let you stole my crops if you think that symptoms is not consider as a “Barn Buddy” addict...haha... Well for me this game is fun and thought I want to share to all of you specially those people who really play games in facebook. Oh don’t worry you will not become an ugly-crazy-freak, just a simple addiction. Opps better go now I have to harvest my barn, see yah!

Weekend Facial

Last week my good friend Beverly gave me and mom a free facial and hand spa treatment. She endorsed and let us tries her newly found products, and that’s Mary Kay. I know many of you know this product already and maybe some of you already tried it, Mary Kay it’s out in the market for many years now. Bev’s gave us tips on how to used or apply their products in a proper way “you’re a certified mary kay endorser! now mareng or later become a mary kay model...yay!” After the facial session given to us by Bev’s Mary kay amaze me, I fall in love with their facial kit in just a matter of minutes. The calmness and fresh feeling I felt when I tried the products, I’m planning to get the facial kit this last week of May because I still have my OLAY. I’m a certified OLAY user actually OLAY is a great product also but the I’m not that satisfied with it that’s why I wanted to switch from OLAY to Mary Kay I hope it’s really suit onto my skin. Like what Bevs told me “Mareng switch to Mary Kay for a new you”...hehe “will Bevs congratulation your slogan is really convincing..:)”.

Cannibad Trip...

It's a blend of bitter and sweet mixture I've experience in Cannibad Island. Although the trip makes you feel tired but I don't even regret going in that place, not a single one I indeed enjoy it. The road is not that good that's the worst part of it"), you can even barely felt the rough intensity of the road ("the tiring part of our trip!") but we still manage and continue to our journey.

Raquel and I shared the same tent, it's quit small luckily we fit in...("diba megs?lami gani tulog naku noh?hehehe..."). When you reach the beach all the tiredness will swept away, It's truly a heaven's paradise. The place amaze me,the water is clear. We go on swimming right away after setting our tent. We spend the whole night eating, drinking, taking pictures and chatting with each other. It's really fun and it's a wonderful experience to treasure.

My Unforgetable Valentines Celebration

Valentines Day is not only intended for couples, because Singles knows how to have fun also, right single people? Even though I’m in the top lists to be in the firing squad this years Valentine because obviously I’m single for 24 years, still I don’t want to spoil the celebration because of that reason. Well this is the happiest, busiest and awesome valentines celebration I’ve ever experience in my whole life. I’m grateful that I could spend my valentines day with my family and friends. I went home after my shift I bought a little box of valentine donut from Dunkin (“it’s a heart shape donut...yay!”), it serves as a valentine gift for my parents, and then I went to bed to catch some z’s.

Early afternoon I’ve spend my Valentines Day with my mom, dad, bro and he’s girlfriend at the mall, I treat them in Pancake House.

After that I have a date with the singles girlfriend namely Jessica and Raquel we went to Cafe Firenzo located in Damosa, we sip some smoothies while having our girl talk.

At 10 p.m Raquel and I left Jessica and her girl friend in Cafe Firenzo, cause we have another date together with our night shift boy friends Ale, Kuya Erwin, Cliff, Majar, and my cousin Elton (“all of them are certified single, except for my cousin Elton”**wink)**. We meet them in Toryanos, after that we decide to go to seawall. We bought some drinks, a half gallon of ice cream and some junk foods. Actually it really looks like were having a “picnic” in the middle of the night...Hehe. We spend our night talking, throwing jokes, me and Raquel savour the taste of the ice cream while the boy’s enjoying their drinks. We went home around 4 o’clock, yeah it’s already morning! We're all dead tired, but for me it's worth it.

I really did enjoy my Valentines Day thanks for my family and friends. I just realized that it’s not necessary to have a lover or a partner to enjoy this kind of celebration, the important is you spend it with the people you love and value the most. Thank's everyone…..

New Years Resolution that came true....

~~Me and My pretty friend Raquel~~

In my previous post I made my New Years Resolution with the hope that I’ll be able to make it happened. I’m proud of myself lately because I’m starting to make it. Two of my resolution is finally come true. First is to save money, I’m glad that I’m starting saving money now although I’m still tempted to bought things but I control myself not to spend to much unlike before. Second is to go to the gym , actually I’ve started my gym regimen two weeks from now and tomorrow I have to go there with my night shift officemates, we enrolled in Smashville located in Uyanguren. Smashville Gym for me is one of the prominent fitness gyms in Davao, they offer almost everything with complete fitness machine, badminton court, boxing and of course the sauna. I just love sauna! That’s one of the reasons why I enrolled in there. Hopefully my lazy attitude won’t hinder me in accomplishing one of my goals and I’m looking forward to lose weight before February…..**wink**

My first Pictorial Ever!

The beginning of the year is sort a "big-bang" to me, I though this year would bring a bad luck because I’m suffering a fever in the New Years Eve. But gladly it turns not, I’m happy and privileged that one of my friends ask me to become he’s model. Everyone knows that I love taking pictures of myself, in other word “artistahin”…hahaha . When Rafa ask me to become he’s model for he’s coming photoshoot, I’ll never take no for an answer cause obviously I like it..**wink**.

Well the photoshoot taken Sunday morning of January 2009 (“yeah I know this is a late post.”) and the location of the photoshoot happen in the vacant lot of Matina. The ray of the light gives the photographer a clear and very emphasize shoot, and also the wind cooperate with us that we didn’t have to fake the blow of my hair(“ it seems that the wind knows there’s a photoshoot going on”). I’m shy and timid at first and honestly I don’t know what I will be doing, thanks to Rafa and Mayet for guiding me. There are four photographer including Rafa in the site, so tell me do I need to feel shy? Unfortunately I’m the only model they had, their camera is hungry to capture every move that I take. It’s an unforgettable day for me and I can’t believe it happens.haha, the photoshoot starts well and ends well, it’s really fun and I did enjoy it.

Here's some of the photos that I like but you can visit their multiply also to view everything just click the url...

New Year's Resolution....

According to Wikipedia a New Year's resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year's Day and remain until fulfilled or abandoned. Right now for my first post in 2009, I just thought of making my own resolution and share this to all of you....

***My Top 10 New year's Resolution
1. Be optimistic
--- I'm super "nega" most of the time...in order to start my new years right I should learn to think more positive.

2. Learn how to save money
--- I was known as a spendthrift so these new year I have too minimize spending on things that is not necessary.

3. Lose weight
--- I never had a chance or try to go to gym and that's my biggest frustration until now..hahaha... I just wanted to try it or do some things in order to lose weight...(e career naku i karon na year...yay!)

4. Finished my Scrapbook
--- All these years I'm still making my scrapbook, but until now I didn't finish it!arrrggg.....It's still stock in my closet.....

5. Plan everything
--- For a while I don't have an exact plan about my life and I think I'm getting old and still don't know where I go in the future. It's time to move and make something for the future..char!

6. Don't trust guys easily!
--- One of the traits that I really hate is trusting someone that easy, that's why I always caught myself hurt...Don't just believe in a nice aura cause sometimes deep inside a beast is hidden that is ready to hurt you in the end. Always remember it really took a time to know the person better.

7. Eat healthy foods
--- One of my hobbies is eating and I can eat almost anything, without knowing it's not a healthy foods. I should learn to eat right go for healthy foods who can gave a proper nutrients.

8. Take care of myself more
--- I'm too focus on my work and failed to take care of my self, this time I should prioritize my health first before anything. I don't want to spend new year again with fever..huhuhuhu.....

9. To travel
--- Last month of 2008 I caught myself traveling in two cities Cebu and Bohol, hopefully next year I can go to other place again in the Philippines or outside of the country..naks!unta naay budget...hehehe

10. To fulfill what I've written here....hahaha
--- Hopefully I can.........

How about you? What's your New Years resolution?

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope every one of you enjoys this celebration…If you ask me about how’s my Christmas going? Well it’s good it’s just a simple celebration with my family. I’m thankful to God for the blessing to have such a wonderful family, who’s always on my side. But honestly I’m hypocrite if I’ll tell you that I’m perfectly happy while celebrating Christmas. I felt sad because I have this issue or some sort of a miss-understanding from one of the people who’s been a part of my life for a while and I really don’t have a plan to fix it not even in this new year to come. I hope God can forgive me for acting this way.

Anyways I don’t want to brought out this issue cause I know he will be reading my blog and I don’t want him to think that I’m depress because of him (“baga lang kaayu sya ug nawung kung isipon niya nah!”) But it’s really bugging me, cause I’m not the type who really into a fight and besides it’s my first time to have a conflict towards a person that never be fix before the year to end. Although I felt this way I don’t let this thing ruin my Christmas celebration with my family, I still enjoy Christmas despite of all.

In Christmas Eve we went to Nccc Mall the four of us again…me, my parents and baby bro. Have some shop then went to dinner after that we rush home so that we can attend the mass. After celebrating the mass we went home to have our “Noche Buena” together, have some karaoke, gave some gifts to my inaanak (godson and goddaughter).

***Noche Buena time***

***Gifts that I recieved; from mom, my neighbors and trunks***

Mom gave me a hello kitty pouch, Trunks is the one who gave that cute cow...and my neighbor gave us that blue bag that contains some coffee, soap including a T-back...is it for me?hahaha...fresh from Singapore...I'm still waiting for the gift from pop...hehehe..."Thank you all for the gift I do appreciate it...muah"

***Gifts for my inaanak and little cousins***
It's a heart warming scene if I saw the kids with their big and innocent smile while receiving this gifts....

It’s a silent Christmas experience to all the people in Davao because our mayor doesn’t approve to use a firecracker. Christmas doesn’t weigh on that, the important is how you celebrate your Christmas and always be thankful for the blessing you received everyday from God almighty...

It's time to decorate!...weee

Since I'm on vacation for the first week of December , we have agreed to set our Christmas decoration as soon as when I get back from a trip . Every year me, mom , dad and bro set-up our Christmas decoration together...this is one of the reason why I really love Christmas. Last year we decorate our Christmas tree but now we have agreed to make it simple...we just put a simple decoration in the living room and a Bell Christmas light in our terrace.

~"In Life many of us have done fighting in every way to survive, heard every painful truth, been in every heartbreaking scene and felt every dreadful feeling. We thought going through it will then make us realized that we have to stop the fight, to atleast save a little of ourselves. But you know whats funny? It's when it seems that we are so much tired of it, but still we can't just quit no matter how hard it is and we continue hoping that one day..well be able to find someone who could love us, not just "right" but "real"~
