Do you still remember "Salbakuta"?....Ok I will help you remember them. "Salbakuta" is a rap group who made waves in the Pinoy music scene with their hit Stupid Love and Ang Pag-ibig Kong Ito they become phenomenal in the Philippines even for a short time. Salbakuta is composed of Charlie Mak, Mad Killah and Ben Deatha with session vocalist Nasty Mak. Salbakuta taken from a BICOL lingo (language) called "SALBAHE" means "BAD"...I don't have any idea if they were bad in person.
Their song Stupid Luv became a big hit, this group become popular through the influence of Andrew E. -F.Y.I : Andrew E. is a one of the pinoy rapper who largely contributed to the growth and popularity of tagalog rap-. I just heard the news in GMA yesterday night that Nasty Mak one of the member of "Salbakuta" died. He died of comatose, because of hypertension at the age of 30 years old, he suffered hypertension for 8 years now.Rest in Peace to Nasty Mack, and condolence to all his family and friends.
P.S: I'm not a huge fan of Philippine Rap Industry but I'm kinda like their Stupid Love song. F.Y.I: Because of the popularity of this song it reaches the big screen,they have a movie titled "Stupid Love" starring: Andrew E., Rica Peralejo and the Salbakuta Boys.
