-I was supposed to post this Monday, but I'm trapped in my work (so busy..) due to 4 day vacation-
During Holy Week many people tend to go out of town to celebrate it. But in my case we tend to stay in the house and go to mass instead. Since Philippines is one of the Catholic country Filipino's really observed this event. Full of preparation from Good Friday down to Eastern Sunday. Catholic celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is typically the most well-attended Sunday service of the year for Catholic churches.Catholics believe according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion.Jesus paid the penalty for our sin.
I'm a Catholic, Easter Sunday is one of the events in the church I always looking forward to. Every year we participate in "Salubong or Sugat in bisayan language means meet". The church portray the meeting of Mother Mary and Jesus Christ during resurrection, there are many kids dress like and angel and sings like an angel too.
These are the some photos, I've taken during Easter Sunday:
